Nike South is looking for a Business planner on AW Lab responsible for leading, developing and implementing fact based short/mid and long term plans maximizing account potential within the marketplace. We are looking for someone able to influence, convince and drive collaboration across different stakeholders from the account team to the head of buyers and above all driven by achieving results. Hence this opportunity asks for a person able to analyze, read into data but able to convert into sales opportunity. The person must be analytical with strong sales skills.

 

Based in Milan, you will contribute to the development of the sales strategy at the account level and maximize profitability for the company and the account. You will be a part of the world’s leading sports brand and have an exciting career within the company.

  • Collaborate with account and key stakeholders to develop and manage the top-line financial plan for an account across categories, gender, and product engine.  Proactively manage and measure the business to ensure and maximize mutual profitability for both Nike and the Retailer
  • Provide ad hoc product plans and forecasts based on ST analysis, current trends and marketplace evolution.
  • Drive Collaboration and include input from key stakeholders including the Account, Geo/Territory Sales, Finance, Planning, Categories to gain agreement on plans
  • Influence account through building and delivering compelling fact based arguments on growth plans, market opportunities, flow plans to maximize our mutual profitability
  • Identify potential opportunities and risks against stock and sales plans; develop actionable recommendations for execution for your Account team
  • Create superior partnership with the account to ensure business and financial goals are met, as well to ensure we are achieving the appropriate seasonal product flow in order to optimize account opportunities and development
  • Demonstrate excellent influencing skills towards your account and internally
  • Demonstrate excellent selling skills towards your account team and the account
  • Demonstrate strong market awareness and general economic knowledge.


  • 5 years relevant Planning or Sales experience
  • Experience in Retail (Nike Direct) is preferable
  • Solid knowledge of the current Marketplace, focusing on Milan and Barcelona
  • Strong experience within sales, preferably in the sporting goods industry
  • Senior financial, planning and business skills
  • A passion and drive to develop the current business
  • Structured approach to work assignments
  • Team player, individual over performer
  • Fluent in English in both verbal and written communication
  • A True passion for sport and the Nike brand
  • Min. Bachelor or higher. Can be compensated by relevant work experience
