Design Innovator II – NXT Space
What you bring to Nike:
- Minimum of 5 years of dynamic and relevant Design work experience.
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design or Product Design preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Well-curated portfolio, variety of projects/mediums, and demonstrating process visually is a plus.
- Excellent teammate, successful collaborator, ability to empower and mentor others. Ability to work directly with a wide range of diverse athlete*s.
- Can work independently with minimal guidance. Adopt ambiguity and understands that failure is part of the creative innovation process.
- Proven track record to prioritize feature work, build individual diverse portfolio of exploration work, lead short term and long-range projects.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including meeting facilitation. Clear, concise, and thoughtful delivery (verbal, written, visual, listening).
- Detailed knowledge of sophisticated product construction concepts, including but not limited to; cushioning, pattern engineering, costing/quality implications, model making, part drawings, drafting, 2D documentation, 3D technologies, mold making, injection molding, materials, customs, patents, royalties, manufacture for design, manufacturing processes and sustainability concepts.
- Comfortable with equipment and tools for hands-on concepting and advising concept creators to facilitate initial concept prototypes.
