Director of Engagement | Valiant Labs
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving entrepreneurial team currently exploring the edges of possibility! We move with speed and purpose, taking calculated risks and failing fast – all with one goal in mind: serving consumers in new and unimagined ways. In support of that mission, we are seeking a Director of Engagement to set and deliver our strategy for reaching and engaging audiences for Valiant Labs.
We are looking for someone with a history of delivering strategic plans, impactful messages, stories and experiences that drive results. You will bring demonstrated experience in consumer brands, campaigns, and corporate positioning. This role requires a deep working knowledge of industry and cross-sector partnerships. You'll work with a wide range of leaders across the Valiant Labs team as well as broader Nike Innovation and other external partners.
What you'll bring
• 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, brand management and internal relationship management within complex business environments.
• Proven track record managing external relationships and the brand voice of an influential organization.
• High level of strategy and performance management and experience.
• Previous experience supporting early-stage startups and new business ventures or working in digital tech is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
