As a Global Digital Direct Merchandising Manager, you will strengthen the brand vision through Converse’s digital direct platforms partnering with brand merchants, product, geographies and digital experience teams. You will be responsible for connecting the brand strategy with digital priorities and capabilities to bring elevated consumer centric experiences to life on Converse’s digital platforms. Your focus will be on delivering consumer right, integrated assortments at the right time and in the right place, to create the best expression of the brand across Converse.com globally.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Create and maintain global apparel assortments for Converse Digital Direct
• Collaborate on the product offering with Global and Geography Merchandising partners
• Strengthen Global Digital merchandising strategy with the Global Experience team and localize for each geo and digital platform
• Create and deliver the Geography Converse Digital consumer led capacity in partnership with Geo Digital Merchandising, Planning and Analytics
• Deliver Geo product direction with the Brand and Experience team to tell deeper stories and ensure localization needs are delivered
• Read and react to in season analytics and identify opportunities to adapt current business and inform future assortments, merchandising strategies and strategic initiatives
• Ensure assortments support financial targets in partnership with Planning and Analytics
• Deliver and participate in the key corporate gates and gameplan deliverables

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 7 years’ experience in apparel merchandising, buying, planning, in a digital environment
• High proficiency in retail, profit based metrics and digital KPI’s
• Assortment planning experience
• A keen understanding of the Converse consumer
• A high taste level for product
• An ability to facilitate strategy from concept to consumer
• An ability to employ retail acumen and proven storytelling capabilities
• An ability to respond with speed and agility
• An entrepreneurial mindset, cross functional collaborator, and relationship organizer
• Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
• High proficiency in keynote/PowerPoint and Excel
• High Degree of professionalism
