WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced manager of influencer and editorial programs to help drive our established program to new heights using best-in-class methods to further relationships with influencers and content creators, enabling us to show up boldly and authentically in this space - gaining attention for Nike, connecting with consumers, encouraging the next generation of athletes, and enabling sport with our products. Ideal candidate should have an extensive background in the planning, executing, management of influencer marketing programs. Background working with top editorial publishers to create brand-right content is a plus. The ideal candidate has a finger on the pulse of the industry as well has how to use these programs to drive brand and business objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

As our Influencer Marketing Manager, you lead and evolve the end-to-end strategy and execution of North America’s influencer marketing and editorial publisher program. You are deeply involved in driving the expansion of our program. You serve as a leader with vision in this space at Nike - partnering with our global and internal functional teams as well major publishers to improve how we show up in this channel and advancing our capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead influencer and editorial campaigns from ideation, execution, to data analysis and recapping
  • Cultivate and develop influencer and editorial relationships, consult partners for feedback/needs, and help build a community of Nike Ambassadors
  • Lead influencer recruitment strategy, in alignment with key Nike categories and brand objectives
  • Prospect for new influencer platforms, social channels and capabilities
  • Work with agency partners and cross-functional teams to define and establish influencer standard methodologies and refine process
  • Partner with Paid Social, Display and Creative teams to establish process, and scale UGC asset use across channels
  • Present to leadership and teammates on strategy, methodologies, process, and campaign recapping
  • Stay up to date on industry trends regarding new partners, tactics, tools and competitor trends

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

You will be a key part of the North American Integrated Media Team, working across the breadth of Nike campaigns, products, and experiences that get executed in the U.S. Ability to establish relationships and partner with extended teams (brand, business, analytics, media partners, etc) is crucial to making impact in this role. You will also guide the execution of your influencer initiatives with help of trusted agency partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience leading influencer marketing strategy and campaign execution for an influencer network, agency or retail brand; experience with luxury brands a plus
  • Experience leading editorial partner relationships and campaign execution
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and the intricacies that go into making compelling and engaging influencer content across platforms
  • A deep passion and ability to champion significant, lasting partner relationships and communities!
  • Experience working with creative teams
  • Experience with influencer and social management tools
  • Strong background running influencer marketing / ambassador programs (and its associated paid social & video extensions)
  • Highly structured, focused, and organized; Adept at crafting structures and operational processes to ensure a consistent, repeatable outcomes
  • Passion for Nike’s mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world
  • Work location: Portland, OR (not able to consider remote options)
