WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Materials are key to Innovation and Product Excellence. We have built a new, unified Materials Sourcing and Manufacturing (MSM) organization which will transform our material capabilities, teams, and processes and accelerate our vision to serve every athlete! We are in need of a new leaders who will lead the solutions creation and implementation.

In this role, you will not only conceptualize, develop, and implement tools to drive automation and optimization of operations across product engines but also elevate current tools and data quality through continuous improvement.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will be responsible for elevating materials data quality and accessibility across the various tools across the materials sourcing and manufacturing (MSM) organization. You will also support the digital strategy and roadmap for materials tools and analytics. As new capabilities such as elevated material planning, sourcing, costing, and integrity are stood up across the materials supply chain, you will ensure that the ground work is laid for world class tools and analytics and nurture them to maturity. 

You must demonstrate strong analytical and storytelling skills to generate key insights and weave them into strategies that shape and complement key transformational initiatives and your peers’ work across MSM. Collaboration and influence across a broad network of partners will be key to success. Demonstrating prior manufacturing, logistics, finance, and systems integration experience in a large, multi-node operating environment will be required. The ability to transform complex concepts into easy to understand action plans for senior management will be a significant aspect of the role.


AS THE MATERIAL PLANNING PROJECT MANAGER YOU WILL:
-  Prep for and facilitate key internal GMP meetings

-  Coordinate necessary inputs for critical external GMP meetings

-  Act as the key point of contact with MOX & GSM COE for metrics and performance management reporting


LEAD THE MPX PROJECT 
-  Represent the Materials Planning function with MPx and ensure alignment between program and business priorities

-  Represent the business problems & desired outcomes and translate to the Business Success Manager and Product managers (as needed)

-  Be the point-person of the business function in areas related to usability of the solutions and enhancements and relay that information back to the program team

-  Participate in critical program timelines and decisions i.e. PI Planning to represent the business objectives and assess business impacts and/or risks

-  Partner with the Materials Planning Excellence (MPx) program on creation of future roadmaps as well as strategy development for key workstreams such as training, data transition, testing, scaling of processes & solutions to end-users

-  Facilitate any internal meetings and champion cross-engine alignment on desired outcomes & decisions within the business function. Represent the business function and communicate any decisions to the MPx program and oversee that business priorities are being addressed and met

-  End-User Engagement and Adoption: Work with Business SMEs as solutions are deployed. Support the adoption from end-users by facilitating conversations and collecting feedback to share back with MPx

-  Communicate progress of the program to Materials Planning leadership and across the Material Sourcing & Manufacturing functions


WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

You will work closely with the functional and product engine leaders in MSM. You will also have significant exposure to our business partners across NIKE’s Asia manufacturing base as well as world headquarters functions including Global Sourcing and Manufacturing, Technology and Digital Product Creation.


WHAT YOU BRING

-  University degree and 3+ years of experience in leading roles within manufacturing, technology, and systems integration in a large, multi-node operating environment

-  Advanced Excel, visualization software (e.g. Tableau), programming and analytics (e.g. Alteryx, Python, Java, etc) skills

-  Business and technical program management, and storylining (Adv. Powerpoint) skills with experience in data quality root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

-  Strong written, verbal, and visual interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to network, influence, inspire, and collaborate with all levels of management

-  Strong desire for action and problem solving with comfort in the face of ambiguity with strong attention to details, process, and deadline
