WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Growth is a strategic leader within the North American Brand Marketing org. You bring devoted knowledge of how consumers engage/shop online, a tried & true digital growth playbook, and you are ready to lead a vision for how Converse can grow through serving existing and future Consumers in North America. You will manage a team of hardworking marketers to deliver on Revenue and Growth objectives, connecting to our consumers through product, stories, and moments.

You are a results oriented team player, who will obsess the business, values the importance of audience strategy and consumer insights, and will drive robust measurement and optimization. You appreciate the creative process – thinking through how we tell stories across channels and will bring standard methodologies with you. You have extensive experience in digital ad-tech, martech, and performance marketing with a proven record of translating business and marketing needs into action.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Growth will have a leadership role within NA Brand Marketing and will define and drive the continued acceleration of the North American Digital direct business.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Targeted Comms channel Marketing vision to transform our brand into the most sophisticated, athlete focused, digital brand in the world. You will bring best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life for the consumer, working as part of an integrated Consumer Direct O2O Marketing team.

  • Define the Performance Marketing agenda for the Geo, accelerating Converse’s revenue and growth against forecasts, measure and optimize our strategies, surface new opportunities, and increase efficiency and ROAS of programs.

  • Lead a team that crafts and assembles always-on demand through seamless full-funnel journeys, management of a 13-week seasonal plan, and integration with the Digital Marketing team.

  • Deliver channel excellence across all programs including SEM, Social Advertising, Affiliate, Re-Targeting, Email/SMS Acquisition, Platform Ecosystems, Programmatic, and Bespoke Activations.

  • Evaluate all partners through test/learn programs, develop roadmaps for all our key channels that will add driven advantage, scale to our campaigns, and improve revenue performance.

  • Be audience obsessed – partnering closely with CRM to drive segmentation approaches and Merch on the products to serve & surprise consumers.

  • Push our digital advertising creative forward, coordinate creative briefs to ensure we are bring to bear standard methodologies, native features, and result in outstanding creative work.

  • Foster cross functional partnership to optimize business results, coordinated marketing plans, and build the best experience for our consumers.

  • Handle, lead, mentor and coach to encourage a hard-working team across Performance Marketing and build influence across the matrix.

  • Be on the creative of the latest ad-technology and offer new insights on how to drive business value with existing tools and make recommendations for new ones.

  • Monitor team progress, drive team learning agendas, be responsible for the weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cadence, and maintain alignment with all partners throughout the season

  • Builds and maintains digital marketing budget aligned with overall business objectives and reports on actual, budgeted and forecasted projections in both spend, demand and return on ad spend on regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work cross—functionally across the Marketing leadership team to drive strategic integration of insights and plans into all levels of marketing work to drive energy to the brand and connectivity with youth. You will also work cross functionally with key partners such as Sports Marketing, SCI, and Consumer Insights in service of our athletes, consumers and members. You will work closely with the Nike Direct and One Creative leaders to editorialize key moments and narratives to create energy through our storytelling. You will lead a team of hardworking and aspiring Relationship, Marketeers, Operations - Directors, Managers and Specialists. You will be adept at building strong relationships with key catalysts in the world.

At Nike, working in effective collaboration is a critical skill and this role is no different. You’ll work closely with our agencies, Coordinated Media & Analytics teams, Digital Tech Teams, Creative Teams, and Category and Territory Marketing Teams to define strategies and capabilities. You will sit directly within the Affiliates team, within the wider Coordinated Media Performance Marketing function and you will report to the Digital Marketing Director for Affiliates.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5-8 years of Performance Marketing experience across multiple channel (SEM, Social, Affiliate, Re-marketing, etc.).

  • Consistent record of driving results and innovation at a DTC company/agency.

  • Ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure KPIs, socialize understanding and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and planning skills; demonstrated success in influencing & communicating ideas to various partners.

  • Experience growing in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

  • Forward-thinking and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.

  • Collaborative, upbeat and hands-on great teammate.

  • Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
